Napier Book Club society is for book lovers.
Edinburgh Napier Book Club Society is the society for book lovers! Whether you've started reading as a new years resolution, have only read one book so far this year, or have a goal every year, we all come together with a common interest. We read a huge range of books throughout the year, coming together monthly to chat about them. These books are hand-picked by our members, so everyone gets a chance to put in a suggestion for what they'd like to read. We aim to be as inclusive as possible and explore a wide range of genres, so there's something for everyone. We meet at Merchiston Campus Outside of reading, we hold weekly study nights, games nights, quizzes, days out, author events and of course our infamous Book Crawl - explore Edinburgh's bookshops with us, including our fantastic sponsor, The Edinburgh Bookshop, where you can get exclusive discount! The majority of our socials are free or budgeted, and either held at Merchiston Campus or at a location with good transport links. In the 22-23 academic year, we won the ENSA Award, the only Edinburgh Napier Sports and Societies award that is given by a panel of judges, rather than student-voted. We have an amazing group of members from a variety of subjects areas, and are so excited to meet new people and chat all things literature!
