ENU Physio Society is the Physio Society for Napier, it is made up of students from the first and second year of our 2 year MSc Physiotherapy course. As a society we are a community of individuals who have shared interests and experiences. Our course runs January to December. Therefore, as a society we continue to offer support throughout the year, learn from each other’s experiences and expand our knowledge. We aim to do this by regular catch ups each month, this meaning if anyone has any worries or questions they can be discussed. CSP (Chartered Society of Physiotherapy) is our professional body, we are lucky to enough to have a liaison on the committee, meaning if there are any queries which we feel are suited for them we can contact them direct. Throughout the year we aim to engage with and support the other Societies and Sports teams as much as possible, wether it’s going to social events like; ENSA Ball, doing joint events other with healthcare societies (educational guest speakers), or going to fundraisers, we are also in talks with the ENSA about doing drop-ins with different sports teams. Being a member of our society will allow you to be part of a great team who wish to help others succeed. There will also be additional perks- e.g discounted tickets for guest speaker events, first chance at tickets(for limited capacity events). ENU Physio Society is a supportive and social environment, which could assist you through your two years on a course, which can sometimes feel very intense. Being part of the society gives us the opportunity to represent Edinburgh Napier to the CSP and other professionals.
