We are delighted to announce that six talented athletes from Edinburgh Napier have been awarded Winning Students Scholarships for 2024/25!
Funded by Sport Scotland and the Scottish Funding Council, Winning Students supports athletes in achieving a unique balance between their academic goals and high-performance sports. Between gold medal commonwealth and top level university sport athletes, there is a wide range of students represented in the program.
One of these athletes is Anna Morgan (pictured), a third-year Sport & Exercise Science student and Scottish senior swimming squad member, who recently earned a BUCS bronze medal in the 200m breaststroke!
The other athletes include Anna Flynn (Cycling), James Heatly (Diving), Ruth Blaikie (Hockey), Beth Riva (Lawn Bowls), Emily Appleton (Tennis).
We’re incredibly proud of their achievements and look forward to cheering them on in their sporting journeys!
