We need student volunteers with an interest in gaining events experience to help us deliver Wecome Back Week in January.
About the Role
You will play an important role in creating an unforgettable experience for new incoming and returning students during Welcome Back Week in January. Similar to being a Welcome Team member during Welcome Week at the beginning of the academic year, but for January starters and returning students!
Your responsibilities may include:
- Assisting at the Welcome Back Fair by signposting students and helping with set up
- Being at daily ENSA info stalls and giving out flyers to students
- Assisting at club nights or evening events like setting up the space and scanning tickets
- Being a Pub Crawl Marshal, which involves supervising a group of students with other marshals and making sure the group stays together and everyone stays safe
Requirements
- Have completed at least 1 year at Edinburgh Napier University
- Must attend one of the Briefing Sessions in the days running up to Welcome Back Week
- Must be over 18 years old - you may not consume alcohol during the pub crawl

The Process

- We will be in touch after applications close on 9 December with a form to select the events you want to work
- Attend an online briefing session (in the beginning of January)
- Start your volunteering!
