On March 28, 2025, Myanmar was struck by a devastating 7.7 magnitude earthquake, the strongest in over a century. The quake caused widespread destruction across Sagaing and Mandalay regions, tragically claiming over 5,400 lives and 7,108 injuries, and leaving 508 missing. This disaster has led to a major humanitarian crisis, with countless families in urgent need of aid, support and temporary shelter.
In response, Myanmar students at Edinburgh Napier University, in collaboration with ENSA, are organising a fundraising event to help provide critical relief for those affected.
