Edinburgh Napier Men’s Football Club has had a fantastic season and are unbeaten in 2025. The club’s first squad plays in Tier 2 of the BUCS leagues and finished in a very respectable 4th place in a fiercely competitive division.

However, it is in cup competitions that the team has really shined. The lads performed sensationally to win the BUCS Conference Cup last month for the second time in 3 years, beating Aberdeen in the final 3-1.

The club followed this up by beating QMU on penalties to claim a win in the Varsity Cup, helping Napier to retain the trophy for another year.

They now have the chance to claim a another cup win when they face Stirling in the Queen’s Park Shield Final. The game will be played on 9 April at the Oriam (Heriot Watt) at 12pm. Supporters are welcome to cheer on the team!

To reach the final, the team beat Strathclyde (3rd seed), Dundee and HWU (2nd seed/Holders). Napier has only won this cup twice in 103 years, so it will be a brilliant achievement if the team can win it this year! We wish them all the best of luck! Let’s go Napier!
