Project proposals have now been received, with 42 students participating in groups of 7.
Project proposals include:
- tracked bike sharing between campuses
- building energy performance campaign
- sustainability TedTalks shows
- website and sustainability apps
- household recycle and reuse initiative
- climate change “NotCool” campaign

Dr Melina Doargajudhur (PhD, MIB, BSc)
Researcher and lecturer in the field of Strategy and Project Management. She is currently the programme leader for MBA Strategic Project Management, and leads several modules related to project management.
Dr Zuberia Hosanoo
PhD in Organisations and Management, researcher, lecturer and Deputy programme leader Strategic Project Management.
Dr Lina Khaddour
Specialist in sustainable built environments, with over 20 years of experience in international research and grant management. Programme Leader for the MSc in Environmental Sustainability and the Lead for Research Integrity and Data Management.
Dr Colin Smith
Associate Prof, Associate Dean, Learning and Teaching School of Computing, Engineering & the Built Environment. His research addresses ICTs, strategic innovation and organisational change in public sector organisations, in relation to ‘e-government’ and ‘e-democracy’.
Prof Mark Huxham (PhD PFHEA NTF FRSE)
Professor of Teaching and Research in Environmental Biology. 20 years working with local communities dependent on mangrove resources to help restore their environments and bring community development benefits.
Erin Slater (FAPM, MRICS)
Erin is an RICS chartered project management surveyor and Fellow of APM, with experience working on higher education projects to create fit for purpose student facilities. her day job is Project Manager, managing construction projects .
Dr. Chrysoula Pantsi (FHEA)
Civil Engineer and member of the Technical Chamber of Greece. Lecturer in Sustainable Water Resources Management (PG) and Project Management (UG).
Dr. Timothy Olawumi (MRICS, FHEA, MGBCN, MHKGBC)
Assistant Professor In SCEBE, multi-award-winning researcher in the digitalising of built environment and climate-friendly practices. Member, Editorial boards of six academic journals and grant assessor for UK Research and Innovation (UKRI).
Dave Jarrold (MBA)
Development consultant, support students in developing resilient skills, (team, time, task, conflict management, and change navigation). Outside work, he enjoys a project and can usually be found building or tinkering with something.
Chika Marvis (MCIWM, MAPM, MCIOB, MEI, MSC)
MSc. Environmental sustainability, with 10 years experience in happily leading communities. Activities and representation across project management & human capacity building. Current ENSA President for Education and Employability, and Founder of PlanetBeta.
