Manifesto
Leadership is about service, continuity, and impact. Over the past year as your ENSA President, I have worked tirelessly to build a more inclusive, engaged, and empowered student community.
From launching the Napier Student Film Festival and advocating for affordable student housing to introducing the International Student Support Scheme, establishing ENU Global Horizons, representing Napier at the House of Lords, and directly engaging with students in accommodations, my mission has been to amplify your voices and drive meaningful change.
But there’s still more to be done. With your support, I seek a second term to further strengthen our community and expand opportunities for every student at Edinburgh Napier.
Stronger Advocacy for Student Rights and Resources
- Continue pushing for affordable student accommodation while addressing key concerns like parking spaces and extended library hours.
- Expand the International Student Support Scheme by partnering with consulates, private organisations, and alumni networks to mobilise financial and other resources.
- Continue to advocate for Edinburgh Napier to serve as a guarantor to help international students secure accommodation more easily.
Building a More Connected Student Community
- Work closely with Residence Assistants to strengthen grassroots leadership and create a more supportive living environment.
- Grow key initiatives such as the Napier Student Film Festival, ENU Global Horizons, and networking events to enhance student experiences.
- Support student societies through the Societies Volunteering Committee, Society of the Week, and a Societies Podcast to help create more meaningful experiences for their members.
Enhancing Student Well-being and Support
- Establish a community food pantry by partnering with local supermarkets, food banks, and student volunteers to reduce food insecurity and create a stigma-free support system.
With your support, we can take ENSA to greater heights, building on our successes, introducing bold solutions, and creating a university experience where every student feels supported, connected, and empowered
